At age 5, the Romania born Irina would secretly draw on the walls behind her family's furniture. Unlined paper was scarce and very expensive. Irina's mother scolded her for drawing on the furniture, so the wall was her medium. After 4 years of drawing in secret, her mother discovered Irina's murals when the apartment was redecorated. Irina's academic studies were traditional with her art taking priority. Even her school notebooks contained funny renderings of her teachers. Upon completing studies at "Industrial High School Constanza" Irina was accepted to the prestigious "Scoala Populara de Arta Constanza". After graduating with the highest honors, Irina immigrated to the United States where she continued her studies. Today Irina's passion comes alive in spectacular angelic murals and expressionistic paintings. Her brush strokes show depth and realism with a vibrant life force. The idea to support her professionalism in art even started to become my own wish. Equipped with such a motivation and lots of overseas-emails my first web page was born at the end of March 2000.
